Community Development Practice
Ayse Figanmese, PE joins as civil engineer. Her experience includes hydraulic and hydrologic analysis, utilities design, roadway design, and construction support services. Figanmese is familiar with the project delivery process, design specifications and guidelines for numerous public agencies. She holds a masters’ degree in civil engineering with emphasis on water resources from the University of South Florida and is a licensed professional engineer in Florida. She is also a Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM).
Joshua Bent joins as senior engineering designer. Bent offers more than eight years of experience in providing civil engineering design and construction administration on a variety of public and private site construction projects throughout Florida. He is a former Hillsborough County Engineering Technician and is a Certified Stormwater Management Inspector with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.
Romas Juknevicius joins as a senior planner. He has more than six years of experience in managing teams to successfully obtain numerous types of development approvals, including site plans, zoning code amendments, comprehensive plan amendments and minor zoning variances. He holds a master’s degree in planning from the School of Urban and Regional Planning, Queen’s University in Canada.
Denise DiPietro joins as an engineering technician. DiPietro brings more than 10 years of experience in civil engineering design and site permitting coordination. She has significant experience working on commercial and residential projects, and specializes in coordination with various municipalities and governmental agencies to complete project permitting efforts.
Kemba Mayes is a mechanical designer, joining Stantec’s Power practice. Mays has more than 10 years of engineering experience in the power industry and has held positions in distribution engineering, transmission line design, and power generation. Her main work experience has been power plant engineering in coal-fired power plants. Her expertise includes project management, studies and cost estimates, specifications, analysis and design of various types of mechanical systems.
Marketing and Communications
Sarah Freeman, CPSM, AM.APMP joins Stantec as a Senior Marketing Coordinator. Freeman offers more than 12 years of experience in marketing, communications, and event development. She is a Certified Professional Services Marketer from the Society of Marketing Professional Services, an Accredited Member with the Association of Proposal Management Professionals and Graduate from Leadership Tampa, Class of 2010.
