Tampa agency named a 2014 Official Honoree in Events (Handheld Devices) and Religion and Spirituality Categories
Tampa, Fla. (April 11, 2014) – Haneke Design announced today its recognition as an Official Honoree in two categories of the 18th Annual Webby Awards competition. Hailed as the “Internet’s highest honor” by The New York Times, The Webby Awards, presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS), is the leading international award honoring excellence on the Internet. Haneke Design’s Tie the Knot responsive web site and mobile application, created for client Two Coast Ventures, was recognized as an Official Honoree for Best Mobile & Apps – Events (Handheld Devices), one of only eleven selected for the category worldwide. PrayerBowls.com, a responsive e-commerce site built last year for Tampa entrepreneurs Tom and Karen Berry, was one of only five international Official Honorees named in the General Websites: Religion and Spirituality category.
“We are excited, humbled, and truly happy to have the IADAS recognize our team and our clients with these two Webby honors,” said Jody Haneke, president of Haneke Design, a leading interactive design and development firm focused on delivering user-centered solutions for desktop, mobile and tablet devices. “The visionary entrepreneurs behind PrayerBowls and Tie the Knot are all located here in Tampa.
