New Port Richey — On March 8th, over 400 participants ran, walked and bicycled to support the Alzheimer’s Family Organization. This annual event included a 5K, 10K run, a 25K Bike Tour, a 1 Mile Walk/Fun Run and was held at the Jay B. Starkey Wilderness Park in NewPortRichey. Over $ 7,000 was raised to support the Organization’s programs and services, such as Respite Care, Wanderer’s ID Program,Support Groups and Educational Seminars, for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and their families in the Pasco County area.
