| [Sarasota, FL] — Planned Parenthood of Southwest and Central Florida is delighted to welcome two new additions to their Board of Directors.
Felice Schulaner has served as the Executive Director of the Coach Foundation since March of 2011. Prior to this role, Ms. Schulaner was the Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Coach Inc., a multi-billion dollar, global accessories company, a position she held from January of 2000 through 2007. She has held similar positions at Optimark Technologies and Salant Corporation. Ms. Schulaner’s 25+ year business career also included senior Human Resources positions at American Express and Macy’s and retail management positions at Sears and Jordan Marsh. She graduated from New College of Florida, with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and serves on the New College Board of Trustees and as the Chair of the New College Foundation Board. She also serves on the Board of Visible Men Academy, a recently opened Charter School in Bradenton. She and her husband Dennis Rees live in on Siesta Key.
Sandra R. Hughes is currently an independent governance consultant for nonprofit and community benefit boards and senior management. During her many years of experience in the nonprofit world, Sandy has worked with hundreds of boards and thousands of board members. Prior to her work as an independent consultant and facilitator, Sandy held a variety of senior management positions with nonprofit organizations, foundations, and universities, serving as Senior Governance Consultant at BoardSource, CEO of the United States Rowing Association, Associate Executive Director at the American Bar Association, Director of Admissions and Vice President for Development at George Williams College, Western Regional Manager for the Levi Strauss Foundation, Director of Training and Development at the Christian Science Center, and Director of Admissions at the University of Tennessee. Sandy received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maryland. She also holds a Master’s Degree and a Doctorate (Ed. D) from Northern Illinois University.
