The Greater Hernando County Chamber of Commerce through its foundation, Chamber Education Training Association (CETA), is presenting the start-up funding of $5,000 for equipment purchases for the 2013-2014 Hernando County Adult Technical Education Program at Nature Coast Technical High School.
The Suncoast Technical Education Center offers the education courses and training necessary for adults to build their careers. Training programs include Home Health Aide, Cosmetology, Culinary Arts, Machining, Automotive Services and more. They will use the funds received today to further the growth of the program.
Receiving the $5,000 check is Dr. Lori Romano, Superintendent of Hernando County Schools.
