Robert K. Lincoln, a member of Sarasota law firm Icard, Merrill, Cullis, Timm, Furen & Ginsburg, P.A., will speak at an upcoming land use seminar sponsored by The Florida Bar City, County and Local Government Law Section. The seminar will be held Thursday, May 8th at the Lowes Royal Pacific Resort in Orlando. Mr. Lincoln, who frequently lectures about land use, zoning and other government issues, will discuss recent court decisions and their possible influence on land use and development in Florida.
Mr. Lincoln has been a member of Icard Merrill since 2004. He represents public and private clients in all aspects of the land development process, with a focus on complex land use, zoning approvals and litigation. With an extensive academic and professional background in planning, zoning and growth management, he has written, published and lectured extensively on land use topics. Mr. Lincoln has been a resident of Sarasota since 1977 and was recently appointed to the New College Foundation Board of Directors.
