|Cortez, Fla. (March 21, 2014) – The Florida Maritime Museum (FMM) is gearing up for this fun and family-friendly fundraiser on Saturday, April 12, 2014 from 2-5p.m. Live music by Bill Vinhage, sundae bar featuring Tyler’s Ice Cream, artsy photo booth, unlimited popcorn, nautical twister and lots of other fun activities for all to enjoy.
Early bird premium gift bags, purchased by April 5th, include a free raffle ticket. Raffle and auction items include 4 park-hopper passes to Disney, sunset sail, kayak tours, tickets to regional museums and attractions, themed gift baskets and more.
Museum Supervisor, Amara Nash, says, “As our inaugural fundraising event we wanted to create something affordable that adults and families could all enjoy. We are thrilled at the support we’ve gotten from the community to help make this event really successful.”
Supporters include Keeton’s Art Supply, AMI Outfitters, Catherine’s Charters, South Florida Museum, Ringling Museum, Mote Marine, Sarasota Film Society, Asolo Rep, Pittsburg Pirates, Bealls, Aluna Wellness, and others.
Tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for kids. Reduced rates for FMM Members are $20 for adults and $12 for kids. All ticket prices include a gift bag, but tickets purchased before April 5th will receive a premium gift bag that includes a free raffle ticket.
