|Sarasota, FL, March 10, 2014- Nuevo Advertising Group™, a Sarasota-based full service marketing, advertising and public relations agency, recently won the “2014 American Package Design Award” for work they completed for the WellSpring Pharmaceutical Corporation.
Nuevo designed new packaging for Wellspring’s over-the-counter children’s anti-nausea product, Emetrol. The new packaging was part of a re-branding campaign created by Nuevo.
In 2012, Nuevo won a similar award for WellSpring’s Micatin® antifungal cream product. Presented by Graphic Design USA (GDUSA) and sponsored by Neenah Papers, the annual national competition received more than 2,000 entries from across the U.S.
Nuevo developed the new package design based on factors such as age, generation, language, product loyalty, product uses and retail space. Nuevo also conducted focus groups to ensure a strong connection with the product.

GDA is a 51 year old news and business magazine for the graphic design industry. Nuevo’s client, WellSpring Pharmaceuticals joins such industry leaders as AT&T, Best Buy, Campbell Soup, Walmart and other marketing leaders whose design firms or inhouse designers won recognition in this year’s competition.
