TAMPA, FL – Local NBA professional, Joey Graham and former big box gym manager, Jim White open First Fit in Westfield Citrus Park Shopping Mall. First Fit is the first health and fitness studio to open inside a shopping mall in Tampa Bay.
Graham and White are on a mission to revolutionize the fitness experience in the region. First Fit offers customized workouts to maximize results in a convenient, easy to access location. Clients are routinely in and out within 35-45 minutes – ideal for the busy professional trying to stay fit.
Joey Graham’s first passion is playing in the NBA, but his vision is to expand health and fitness in a new way to Tampa Bay that will encourage communities to get fit, focused and healthy. Graham attended Brandon High School, where he was quickly recognized as a force on the basketball court. He later played for Oklahoma State University and was drafted in the NBA in 2005.
“I was fortunate to grow up in a very supportive family that focused on health and fitness,” said Graham. “I reached the pinnacle of my sport as a result of training, practice and support. I want everyone to have that same experience. First Fit is an incredible place for individuals interested in a fun, results driven environment.”
After years of managing a big box gym and seeing frustration among members and employees, Jim White decided that he wanted to do something to change the fitness industry.
“Beyond the energy that a health and fitness studio inside the mall creates, the results and member experience standout against the competition,” said White. “We want our members to feel apart of a famil – how they feel about their workout and results is important to all of us. We want members to feel accomplished, energized and inspired after each session.”
The First Fit formula to success combines fun, time-friendly workouts that are fast paced and
accompanied with a guide to great nutrition. Individualized fitness programs are expertly crafted and delivered in a variety of comprehensive, body changing workouts. The 35-minute session is offered in small class settings that maximize support from expert trainers and instructors.
The fitness platform is built around High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT). Studies have proven that four minutes of HIIT style training has a greater effect on fat loss, cardio conditioning and insulin response than an average 40-minute workout on the treadmill. From beginners to professional athletes, First Fit has something for all levels of experience.
“Everyone has 35 minutes they can invest in themselves to get healthier, happier and more fit.” said Graham and White.
Specials are currently underway for the first 100 people to sign up through March. For more information, please visit www.first1fit.com or contact Angela Walters at 813.394.5270 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
