Tampa, Fla. (March 4, 2014) – RMC Property Group (RMC) is pleased to announce that it has closed on the sale of Williams Place Shopping Center, located at 22088 US Highway 41 in Estero, Fla. RMC represented the seller in this complicated tri-party transaction. The 66,000-sq. ft. shopping center, which had previously been ground leased by Albertson’s, sold for $4.4 million, or $67 per square foot.
The sale of Williams Place involved the simultaneous termination of the existing Albertson’s ground lease and the purchase of the property by Living Waters Church. Bobby Eggleston of RMC Property Group represented the seller, Dan O’Berski and Matt Fredrickson of Trinity Commercial Group represented the buyer, and Josh Dorminy of CAMM Management represented Albertson’s.
