SARASOTA , Fla. (Feb. 14, 2014) – On April 4, 2014, at Michael’s On East, the first Silver Lining Gala will be held. The inaugural fundraising event, chaired by Diana Houston, Ginny Cable and Heather Parker, will celebrate Sarasota cancer survivor honorees who are giving back and making a difference in our community. Proceeds will benefit cancer treatment programs at Sarasota Memorial Health Care System.
International best-selling author Joy Weston will provide cameo tributes and Sarasota Memorial Director of Patient Care Services Yulonda Greene, MBA, BSN, RN, OCN, will present “Silver Lining Ray of Hope” a snapshot of the latest cancer research. An auction will include a Mediterranean seven night voyage for two and a Zulu Nyala African photo safari.
Honorees include: Nancy Ambrose, Jill Campbell, Doris Del Vecchio, Ann Stickel Fontanetta, Barbara Genneken, Scott George, Bambi Famous Kaine, Jackie Keller, Maddie Kujawski, Fran LaCivita, John LaCivita, Angela Long, Tony McEachern, Craig Menke and Annette Zang.
