SARASOTA – Businesses will receive a “compliance checklist” of 10 things you can do to reduce the risk of a data breach in your business on February 20 during BizEdConnect, an event provided by the Sarasota Manatee Business Coalition.
Bob Fowinkle, President, Moore, Fowinkle Schroer Agency specializing in commercial insurance, will lead the event, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Revelry Pub & Grill, 3005 University Pkwy, Sarasota 34243.
“This is a timely topic for small to medium size business owners, with advent of the CLOUD and almost daily cyber crime reports,” says Gregg Anderson, chairman of the SMBC. “We feel that focusing on cyber security to protect against a business data breach is great way to serve our business community.”
