Innovative advertising agency’s new space dramatically enhances efficiency and collaboration
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (February 6, 2014) — Ed Taylor Construction recently completed a comprehensive interior build-out for the new global headquarters for Triad Retail Media.
In line with ongoing growth, the online advertising agency moved its headquarters from Tampa to St. Petersburg, more than doubling its space – from about 30,000 square feet to about 65,000 square feet. The Class A office building was previously occupied by First Advantage.
Ed Taylor completely renovated the interior of the building, located at 100 Carillon Parkway, and created a vibrant work environment that includes such highlights as: a 5,000 square-foot reconfigurable conference center, a full video production studio, a high-tech mission control room, digital touch-screens throughout, specific color schemes that signify company departments, and carpeting designs that define collaborative areas.
Ed Taylor worked with and helped manage a multitude of subcontractors, such as Modern Fold (for the conference center), Sound Interiors (for the production studio and other digital elements) and dPOP! (for finish selections, furniture and signage).
Notably, Ed Taylor managed the design-build process and oversaw completion of the project within an aggressive 10-week timeframe (Triad held a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Mayor and other dignitaries in November). In the midst of literally hundreds of new hires, Triad was quickly outgrowing its previous location and hoped to be operational in the new building before Cyber Monday, a flagship day for the agency which focuses on web-based media programs for such retail giants as Walmart, eBay, and Toys“R”Us. Additionally, the building includes multiple other tenants, which continued operations throughout the build-out.
“Whether it’s an ambitious timeline, an occupied renovation, or some other obstacle, we embrace such opportunities to overcome these challenges for our clients,” said Ed Taylor Senior Project Manager Gregory Walbrun.
“Our agency’s growth and workforce expansion not only meant a need for more space, but signaled an opportunity to incorporate some major transformations,” said Triad SVP of Production Joe Reichl. “For example, company-wide meetings and studio productions had previously been held off-site. These capabilities are now in-house, saving us substantial time and resources. Areas like our video studio and Mission Control align with the direction our clients and industry are heading. Plus, we’ve created a more fun and efficient place to work.”
Michael Talmadge and Ryan Lynch with Echelon Real Estate Service facilitated the lease.
