Bradenton, Fla. (Feb. 4, 2014) – With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, what better time of year to think about heart health?
That’s just what Heritage Park Care & Rehabilitation Center is doing with its first ‘Heart of the Matter’ Health Expo, to take place Thursday, Feb. 13. Heritage Park Care & Rehab is a 120-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center in Bradenton.
The event, which is being co-hosted with NurseOnCall Home Healthcare, is open to the entire community and will include presentations from local physicians Dr. Jagan Akella, M.D., Dr. Scott Clulow, D.O., Dr. Ted Kadivar, M.D., and Dr. Colleen Ford, D.C., health screenings to include blood pressure, spinal, vision and glaucoma checks and simple skin cancer checks, raffle prizes, a free BBQ and more. Several vendors will also be on hand, including the American Cancer Society, the YMCA, The Eye Associates, Blake H2U, Hearx, Roskamp Institute and several others.
