Feb. 13 event is free and open to the public
TAMPA, Fla. (Feb. 5, 2014) – Just in time for Valentine’s Day, romance novelist Nicholas Sparks, author of The Notebook, Dear John and more than a dozen other bestselling titles, will present the next lecture in the student-run University Lecture Series at the University of South Florida. The lecture will be held at 8 p.m. (doors open at 7:30 p.m.) on Thursday, Feb. 13 in the Marshall Student Center Ballroom. A book signing will be held immediately following the lecture.
With nearly 80 million copies of his books in print, Sparks is the author of 17 New York Times #1 bestsellers—many of which have been adapted into blockbuster films. Relating to his own experiences, Sparks will share his expertise in the creative writing process, as well as his personal story of hard work, rejection and triumph.
