Award-winning agency hires Glenn Bowman and Cristina Dragomirescu for digital and communications roles
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (January 31, 2014) – Paradise Advertising and Marketing, Inc., one of Florida’s leading integrated marketing and digital agencies, is proud to announce the addition of Glenn Bowman as Director of Digital, Mobile & Social, and Cristina Drago (Dragomirescu) as Public Relations & Communications Manager.
Glenn oversees all digital work for clients, including integrated email marketing programs, apps, social media initiatives and manages the agency’s ambitious push into the digital arena, including developing responsive websites. After earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic and Interactive Communication from the Ringling College of Art and Design, he spent a decade as a professional designer and web master, working on such leading brands as Marriott, Sea World and Verizon.
In addition to his family, Glenn dedicates heart and soul to his Triumph motorcycle and Café Moto, the local motorcycle club he and other enthusiasts are helping turn into the premiere vintage bike association in Florida. Glenn spends his precious little non-billable time updating the club’s sleek website, organizing events, tinkering with his bike and riding. The best client ideas are born on Thursday bike nights, he claims.
A Harvard graduate with a Masters in Journalism, Cristina brings a deep marketing communications and media experience to Paradise. Inthis position, she will be actively involved in communications for various Public Relations clients, including Visit St. Petersburg/Clearwater.
Vastly experienced in PR and journalism, Cristina has written for Adweek, Crain’s New York Business, TimeOut New York, the Economist and Vogue, among others, as well as managed communications for clients in the U.S. Additionally, she has directed agency and client communications in her native Romania, for a gold mining project and in Kazakhstan for PricewaterhouseCoopers. A formerly competitive tennis player, Cristina wishes to use professionally her nickname “Drago” from her days at Harvard, where she was elected captain of the tennis team.
“We are excited to continue to add great talent to our agency,” said Paradise CEO Cedar Hames. “A man of many interests, Glenn is one of those rare individuals who perform beautifully in both the artistic and digital worlds, resulting in flawlessly designed interactive communications. Glenn’s expertise will contribute to the success of Paradise and our clients.
“Similarly, Cristina can easily don her journalist hat to understand writers’ particular needs and in the same vein piece together a strong strategic communications plan for clients, “ Hames continued. “We are confident that her expertise and her competitive spirit as a former athlete will help forge new and exciting paths for us and our partners.”
