Downtown Tampa Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies Have Gone to the Dogs
Mayor to cut ribbon for second 2014 grand opening of downtown ground floor space
Tampa, FL (January 28, 2014) – Downtown Tampa’s Channel District is burgeoning with new residents – both two- and four-legged – something that did not go unnoticed by Dr. Timothy D. Hodge, a veterinarian with a long time practice in New Tampa. With the desire to bring his services to this high demand area, Dr. Hodge recently purchased a space on ground of The Ventana (one block from Washington Park, the #1 urban canine hangout), and opened the district’s first veterinary care facility, Harbourside Animal Hospital this week.
Please join Mayor Bob Buckhorn, Dr. Hodge, Mr. Martinez, and Tampa Downtown Partnership to celebrate the grand opening of this new Downtown Tampa business.

Harbourside Animal Hospital provides veterinary services for canines, felines, avian, and exotic pets, offering wellness care, acupuncture, laser surgery, and advanced healing procedures. For the clients’ convenience, drop off service and covered parking are offered. New patients are offered $25 off their first visit through February 28, 2014.
As the pet owner population grows, Downtown Tampa continues to expand its pet friendly amenities with two official dog parks, dog waste receptacles dotted along the Tampa Riverwalk and city parks, most residential buildings offering pet friendly policies, and now the opening of this new facility, Downtown Tampa and its Channel District.
