The Bradentucky Bombers is an all-female flat track roller derby league that sponsors sportswomanship and athleticism. The Bombers promote a strong, positive, athletic female image and deeply believe in our slogan “Strong Women Rolling for a Strong Community.” Comprised of women from all walks of life, they are a charitable organization with the main focus being the empowerment of women and the protection of children. The team strives to be a positive influence in the community and are actively involved in many charitable activities each year. At every home bout, the league donates items or funds to local organizations thus embodying their slogan.
Rolling in their eighth season, league founder “Gigi RaMoan”, also known as Valerie Borstelman when not on skates, says “It seems like even in the off-season many Bombers have been working on strengthening and cross-training. I think fans can look forward to a stronger team, both physically and emotionally.”
Their season opener against the Jacksonville Rollergirls will be a riveting game that will be a show of talent and skills.
