The 24-hour emergency and multispecialty clinic is now CriticalVetCare.
SARASOTA, Fla., Jan. 27, 2014 – Reflecting its growth as the most comprehensive veterinary diagnostic center in the Sarasota and Manatee area, Critical Care & Veterinary Specialists of Sarasota (CCVSS) is changing its name to CriticalVetCare (CVC).
“The name change reflects CriticalVetCare’s evolution into a comprehensive veterinary diagnostic center from our roots as a veterinary neurology and neurosurgery practice in 2002 to the opening of CCVSS, a 24-hour emergency care center offering multispecialty care, in 2010,” said Dr. Anne Chauvet, the veterinary neurologist and neurosurgeon who founded CCVSS, Veterinary Neuro Services, and Pet Rehab & Performance Center.
Today, the clinic houses a full lab, ultrasound, endoscope, digital radiology, and a list of “firsts” for the area in advanced veterinary medicine, including a hyperbaric chamber, in-house MRI, and minimally invasive procedures like tracheal stenting, laparoscopy and arthroscopy.
“Our goal always has been to bring the highest level of veterinary medical care to this area that is applied judiciously and with compassion,” Chauvet said. “Our community values its companion animals, and we want to offer hope for prolonged and high quality lives for treasured family pets by living up to our tagline, ‘Passion to Care, Mission to Cure,’ because pets are family.”
