Mayor to cut ribbon marking first 2014 grand opening of downtown ground floor space
Tampa, FL (January 15, 2014) – Downtown Tampa is off to an auspicious start with our first ground floor ribbon cutting of 2014 – and more are in the planning stages! Please join Mayor Bob Buckhorn, John Rolfe Tobacco Company, and Tampa Downtown Partnership to mark the grand opening of this new Downtown Tampa business.

John Rolfe Tobacco Company owner, Dan Mouneimne, hails from Columbus, Ohio where his family owns successful restaurants. Since 1994, Dan has served as president of Midwest Highway Sales and Midwest Highway Trade Division. Mouneimne also served as an executive consultant to US AID (1994 to 2002), and was cited by then Ohio Governor George V. Voinovich (1998) with the honor “Ambassador of Goodwill.” For this same work, he was acknowledged by the Embassy of Lebanon, Washington, D.C. for his strategic economic missions. He also owns and operates spa businesses in Ohio.
While visiting John Rolfe Tobacco Company, which held its soft opening in November 2013, check out the attention to detail, including the restored antique humidor, light fixtures purchased in Dubai, and artwork by Alicia Campos, a Harvard trained artist who vends at the Downtown Tampa Market.
Mouneimne, is excited by the growing energy in the Cass and Franklin area of Downtown Tampa and looks forward to serving those who work, live and visit Downtown Tampa.
