In Spring 2014, Hotel Property Reaches Agreement to Become Holiday Inn
Tampa, Florida – (January 15, 2014) – The Wyndham Tampa Westshore announces that they will temporarily become Quorum Hotel beginning January 1, 2014. The hotel property has reached a formal agreement with Holiday Inn to re-brand permanently in the Spring 2014.
“Ownership, property managers and quality staff service will all remain the same as it has since 1995,” said hotel general manager and chairman of the Visit Tampa Bay board, Pam Avery. “The property is simply changing brand names.”
At the first of the year, temporary Quorum Tampa signage will be installed and visible during the transition. Operating independently, Quorum Tampa was the former name of the Westshore area hotel from 2005-2010. Once the property becomes a Holiday Inn, Quorum will remain as the management services company of the hotel and continue to handle all aspects of the hotel operation.
“Quorum believes strongly that the new Holiday Inn brand is an ideal fit for the Westshore market,” said Ted Mosley, President at Quorum Hotels & Resorts. “We look forward to supporting the hotel through the transition and are excited about the future.”
The formal announcement and launch date for the new Holiday Inn will take place at the beginning of 2014.
