Punta Gorda, Florida . . . Fishermen’s Village announced today that Eve Sweeting, Human Resources and Resort Manager of Fishermen’s Village, has been appointed to the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Young Professional Advisory Council for 2014.
SHRM is the world’s largest association devoted to human resource management. Representing more than 250,000 members in over 140 countries, the Society serves the needs of HR professionals and advances the interests of the HR profession.
The Young Professionals Advisory Council exists to serve the interests of SHRM young professional (YP) members and provide guidance to SHRM for attracting and retaining non-member YPs. The board of 15 individuals was chosen from over 320 applicants from around the country.
Ms. Sweeting has previously served on local boards promoting human resource management and young professional interests, having served as the 2012 President of Charlotte County Society for Human Resource Management (CCSHRM) and on the board of the Charlotte County Young Professionals (CCYP) from 2009-2013.
