SARASOTA, Fla. – The Women’s Resource Center of Sarasota County’s (WRCSC), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to educating and empowering women in Sarasota County and enriching their lives, is now accepting applications for its annual scholarship program for women pursuing a higher education.
Established in 1986, the WRCSC’s scholarship program serves non-traditional, female students. Applicants must be 21 years or older, reside in Sarasota County and be accepted to or attending an accredited postsecondary vocational school, two- or four-year institution.
The deadline for submitting a completed scholarship application is Friday, February 14 by 12 p.m. Applications and additional information are available at www.TheWomensResourceCenter.org.
Applications are available at the Women’s Resource Center of Sarasota County offices located at 340 S. Tuttle Ave. in Sarasota or 701 Center Road in Venice, as well as through the financial aid offices of local colleges and/or technical institutes.
