|Two Sarasota-area published authors have written a book about how to write a book in the eBook age. Aimed at aspiring nonfiction authors, the 245 page book is titled You Should Can Write A Book .
Published by Suncoast Digital Press(ISBN 978-1-939237-06-4), the book is available as a paperback or an eBook at Amazon.com.. The authors are Barbara Bingham of Sarasota, Florida and Jeffrey R. Orenstein, Ph.D., of Lakewood Ranch, Florida.
The book is a guide to every step of writing and publishing a nonfiction book in both print and electronic formats. It is aimed especially at business owners and professionals who want to leverage being a published author to gain instant credibility and enhance their marketing strategy.
It covers the planning, writing, publishing and marketing processes of a book or eBook in the current publishing climate.

About The Authors
She is the co-founder and President of Suncoast Digital Press, Inc., a boutique publisher in Sarasota. She currently has three books selling on Amazon and in other major bookstores and is a professional publishing partner, editor and coach to authors throughout the US working on nonfiction books.
She has extensive training and experience as a professional coach to small business owners, professionals in private practice and adults with AD/HD. She is a graduate and former faculty member of Coach U and currently writes a column on books and publishing for Living On The Suncoast magazine
Her specialty is nonfiction business and self-help books aimed at catapulting author reputation, personal brand and credibility although she has also worked with a wide range of authors including poets, memoir and novel writers. She has a B.S. from Florida State University.
Jeffrey R. Orenstein, Ph.D.
At the age 11, he started his own neighborhood newspaper in Cleveland. As an undergrad at Ohio State, his first professional byline was for the university newspaper. During his career as a political science professor at a large Midwestern University, he wrote several textbooks and public policy analyses for Harper Collins, Praeger, Kendall Hunt and others and scores of policy monographs for professional meetings. He was also a referral reader for several major publishers. Upon retiring as a full professor, he took up business writing and published articles in national magazines (including one published by I.B.M.) and regional newspapers.
Upon moving to Florida after retirement, he was an Internet columnist for the Boca Raton Business Journal and then Executive Editor of the Gulf Coast Business Review and created and became the Executive Editor of the community newspaper for Lakewood Ranch, Florida. He also launched and still co-publishes and writes for Living On the Suncoast, a glossy greater Sarasota lifestyle magazine.
Orenstein has a B.A. from Ohio State University and an M.A. and Ph.D from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, all in political science
