Ahoy Matey! The Gasparilla Parade of the Pirates will invade the streets of Tampa on Saturday, January 25. Have no fear, because all hands will be on deck at HART to ensure every landlubber’s safe, convenient voyage during Gasparilla.
HART will mark its 11th official year of service to the 2014 Gasparilla Parade, providing years of public transportation directly to the world-renowned Gasparilla parade.
HART strongly recommends that streetcar riders board the TECO Line Streetcar System at either the Centennial Park station or Tampa Bay Federal Credit Union (TBFCU). There will only be bus shuttle service from Station 3 (Streetcar Society Station) and Station 4 (Cadrecha Station) during periods when the streetcar reaches maximum capacity.
Cash with exact change is the fastest way to get on buses and streetcars during the parade. For only $2.00 each way, HART is by far the most convenient and affordable way to travel to the Gasparilla parade. Customers can also purchase a $4.00 all-day pass, and $5.00 all-day streetcar pass which can be used aboard streetcar and all HART buses except Limited Express service.
HART will run extra streetcar, bus and trolley service to accommodate the large numbers of anticipated riders, with continuous service throughout the day.
(Please note that routes are subject to change due to road closures.)
