The 20-time Grammy® award winner Pat Metheny brings his “incredible” Unity Group for a one-night special. Metheny’s body of work includes compositions for solo guitar, electric and acoustic instruments, large orchestras and ballet pieces with settings ranging from modern jazz to rock to classical. Pat Metheny, Ben Williams, Chris Potter, Giulio Carmassi and Antonio Sanchez are the Pat Metheny Unity Group.
Comedy: An Evening with Mark Steyn
International bestselling author, conservative political commentator and leading Canadian human rights activist Mark Steyn starts his Sunshine State tour with a family-friendly show featuring stories, live music and political humor. Steyn, otherwise known as “the Undocumented Anchorman,” is a popular guest host of America’s No. 1 radio show, The Rush Limbaugh Program, and America’s No. 2 cable show Hannity.
Music: Tony Bennett
Living legend Tony Bennett will perform with a very special guest, his daughter Antonia Bennett. Mr. Bennett, who turned 87 last year, is the beloved singer of American popular “classical” music and easy listening standards who “left his heart in San Francisco.”
Fundraiser Party: Big Hearts for Little Hearts
Alpha House of Pinellas invites singles and couples to their Second Annual Valentine’s Day Party featuring The Black Honkeys. The Black Honkeys are: Brother Phil, Nicole “Miss Groovalicious” Simone, Terry Clark, Billy Summer, Wil “The Thrill” Harris, Greg Czinke, John Dash Dixon and Scott Myers.

It’s Buddy’s Big Adventure. Dinosaur Train-Live! This show, based on the television show Dinosaur Train produced by The Jim Henson Co., combines two things that fascinate kids: dinosaurs and trains! The show brings the beloved stars of the hit PBS series to The Mahaffey stage for the whole family to enjoy.
Laughs: Jim Breuer at The Palladium
Jim Breuer, a top entertainer with an off-the-wall humor and lovable personality, brings his 20 years of stand-up experience to The Palladium Theater. One of the most recognizable comedians in the business, the former Saturday Night Live comedian is best known for charismatic stage antics, family-friendly stand-up and his dead-on impression of Joe Pesci.
Family: Masters of Illusion LIVE!
Imagine a magic show that includes grand illusions, escapologists, beautiful dancers, exotic animal and quick change artists and you have Masters of Illusion Live. Sit back, enjoy this comedy magic show for children of all ages and, perhaps, participate in performing tricks.

Jazz pianist Peter Nero, has a lifetime of achievement. Winning two Grammy® Awards, receiving 10 nominations and releasing 68 albums in his 50-year career, this musician, lauded as one of the premier interpreters of George Gershwin, enjoys giving his audience impeccable classics.
Music: Collective Soul with Special Guest Ed Kowalczyk
This American rock band broke into the mainstream more than 20 years ago with the hit single “Shine” and it’s been gangbusters ever since. Hailing from Atlanta, Collective Soul with Ed Roland, Dean Roland, Will Turpin and Joel Kosche got early attention on the college underground circuit. Their 1993 album achieved double-platinum status and their second, a self-titled album, had three No. 1 hits. Collective Soul is joined by Ed Kowalczyk, former lead singer of the band Live.
Music: 1964…The Tribute
“1964”…The Tribute, described as “the best Beatles Tribute on Earth” by Rolling Stone, returns to The Mahaffey Theater to celebrate the Fab Four’s 50th anniversary. Artists Mark Benson as John Lennon, Mac Ruffing as Paul McCartney, Tom Work as George Harrison and Bobby Potter as Ringo Starr will perform a song list that might include those on the original live, debut show: “She Loves You,” “This Boy,” “All My Loving” and many more.
Laughs: Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood: Two Man Group
Using their quick wit, the duo takes contributions from the audience to create hilarious and original scenes on The Mahaffey stage. The show becomes truly interactive as audience members are called to the stage to participate in the fun.

This super group of musicians, vocalists, arrangers and composers WERE The Four Seasons with Frankie Valli and relive the magic they created on world stages for one night at The Palladium in St. Pete. The authentic rock and rollers share a legacy of hundreds of mega hit records from the ’60s-’80 with stars including Carly Simon, Jim Croce, Cat Stevens and Elton John.
Music: A Gala Night with David Garrett at The Palladium
The crossover musician/composer wows fans with his live rock symphonies and enthralls listeners by playing Bach – or Nirvana. David Garrett is a world class violinist who got an early start on his music career at age 10 performing with the Hamburg Philharmonic and then later studied at the Julliard School of Music.
Music: Branford Marsalis Quartet at The Palladium
Renowned Grammy® Award saxophone player Branford Marsalis and his innovative, hard-working jazz ensemble (Joey Calderazzo, piano, Eric Revis, bass and Justin Faulkner, drums) perform at The Palladium Theater for one night only and present original compositions and classics by the masters. Marsalis has led The Tonight Show with Jay Leno band for three years, performed with symphony orchestras, collaborated with Sting and the Grateful Dead, had his own hip-hop band Buckshot LeFonque and composed scores for Broadway.
Musical Theater: Green Day’s American Idiot
Green Day’s American Idiot is the story of lifelong friends forced to choose between their dreams and the safety of the suburbs. The musical, based on Green Day’s groundbreaking album and rock opera, is described by The New York Times as a “wonderfully raucous and gorgeously wrought art opera…emotionally charged and as moving as anything on Broadway!” The studio album, released in 2004, won a Grammy® for Best Rock Album and has sold more than 14 million copies.
Music: One Night of Queen performed by Gary Mullen and The Works
The band has been rockin’ sold-out houses in the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe, South Africa and New Zealand since May 2002. One Night of Queen, performed by Gary Mullen and The Works, will rock the house in a spectacular live concert that recreates the look of sound, pomp and showmanship of one of the greatest rock bands of all time.

Class Acts places professional teaching artists in the classroom to deepen arts knowledge, integrate and enhance the curriculum and offers professional development in various art disciplines and presents performing arts in an in-theater environment.
Since its beginnings in 1993, Class Acts has served more than 24,000 students each year.
