Tampa, FL — Players and coaches from the LSU Tigers and Iowa Hawkeyes Gamecocks football teams in town for the Outback Bowl visited children at Tampa General Hospital of Tampa today to bring them a little cheer for the holidays.
Representing LSU were receivers Jarvis Landry and Odell Beckham Jr., QB Zack Mettenberger, CB Jalen Collins, Will Lamin Barrow, S Craig Loston, FB J.C. Copeland, H Seth Fruge, WR James Wright and TE Travis Dixon. Hawkeyes participating RB Akrum Wadley, DB Kevin Ward, FB Berkley Grimm, QB Justin Joyce, LS Tyler Kluver and PK Alden Haffar. They went room-to-room distributing posters, pennants, t-shirts, hats and signed autographs for about 35 children throughout the hospital.
The Outback Bowl will kick-off at 1:00 P.M. ET on January 1st in Raymond James Stadium. Tickets are available at www.Ticketmaster.com .
