SARASOTA, FL (December 23, 2013) – The Central West Coast Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association (CWC-FPRA) gifted Sunnyside Village with donations at their Holiday Mixer on December 16 at Michael’s Wine Cellar. The group donated personal items, bears, blankets, and puzzles for their 60 skilled nursing residents to brighten their holidays.
“We appreciate the generosity of the FPRA chapter members and the abundant donations they gave of personal items, bears, blankets and puzzles for our skilled nursing residents,” says Julie Platt, APR, FPRA member and Sunnyside Marketing and Sales Specialist. “When a person is admitted as a resident to our Health Center, he or she comes into an unfamiliar environment. A small gift given in kindness is very meaningful to our residents.” – Julie Platt, APR, Marketing & Sales Specialist, Sunnyside Village.
