|Sarasota, December 19, 2013 – More than 2400 meals will be provided for our neighbors in need thanks to the “Stop Senior Hunger” food and fund drive hosted by Comfort Keepers, a company that provides professional and compassionate home care for seniors. Many seniors often must choose between buying medication or food, and that number is growing. All Faiths Food Bank provides approximately 10,000 meals each week at eight senior housing communities and to seniors at local food distribution sites. This would not be possible without the generosity of our supporters and local businesses. Special thanks to Comfort Keepers and everyone who contributed to the “Stop Senior Hunger” food and funds drive.
