Do the Local Motion Background
Do the Local Motion (DtLM), brought to you by Tampa Downtown Partnership, offers an engaging lunch hour with the Three “E’s”… exercise, education and engagement (i.e. walking, learning about Downtown Tampa, and enjoying fellow walkers’ company). DtLM hosts tours on the first and third Friday of the month from October through May. Each tour highlights a different theme, including downtown architecture, history, cultural attractions and more.
Rampello Downtown Partnership School Background
Rampello Downtown Partnership School, opened in Fall 1998, was founded by the Tampa Downtown Partnership in partnership with the School District of Hillsborough County and the State of Florida. This K-8 school serves the downtown workforce population. A public “choice” school, Rampello Downtown Partnership School takes full advantage of its location near cultural and educational venues. The school offers creative instructional programs and teaches foreign language and music as regular courses. While many schools have to scale back on field trips, this downtown school can make a trip to a downtown museum or historic site by foot.
