TAMPA, Fla. (Dec. 17, 2013) — Building on 27 years of success in Carrollwood, Shear Art Salon and Spa has opened a new location in South Tampa. Shear Art Salon South started seeing guests on Dec. 12 in BayView Plaza at 4004 S. MacDill Ave., Unit 4.
“We wanted to provide more convenience to guests who come from South Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, and Largo,” said Shear Art’s Owner Joanne Powers, noting that the Carrollwood salon is north of Fletcher Ave., on Dale Mabry. “We’re also looking forward to meeting and serving some new guests.”

“Our innovative color bar and processing area is open so guests can understand the fashion and the science that goes into mixing colors specifically for them,” said Powers, who also
co-owns The Salon Professional Academy Tampa www.tspatampa.com on Gunn Highway.
