Jeff Curry and Tracy Mlakar bring decades of experience and service diversity to the BCCo team.

Bob Carter Companies LLC has expanded the organization with two new hires: Jeff Curry, based in Pittsburgh, Pa., and Tracy Mlakar, based in Chicago, Ill. The company has consultants based internationally and in major metropolitan areas throughout the United States, with clients in the United States, Mexico and the Middle East.
Curry brings a unique mix of talents to Bob Carter Companies, including broad experience in capital campaigns and studies for large regional nonprofits. He also has extensive experience in business creation, management, and turn-around as a business owner and management consultant. Curry was lead principal in the development of several concurrent start-up ventures that included indoor field athletic venues, education services companies, and professional office and support services. These experiences will provide valuable perspective into a nonprofit’s organizational structure, position, and strengths as they relate to achieving fundraising goals.
Mlakar brings 15 years of donor communications and donor relations expertise that has resulted in multimillion dollar gifts for global and national nonprofits. She created national campaign brands and themes for universities, and she has produced donor-centered communications materials, including strategic plans, case statements, proposals, foundation grants, donor profiles and press releases. Mlakar has a background in public relations and was part of the PR firm that handled Napster Inc. during its copyright infringement lawsuit.

Curry earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia and holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh.
Mlakar has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles and a Master of Arts degree in sports management from California State University, Long Beach.
