(Tampa, Fla., Nov. 27, 2013) – Do your career goals include becoming a financial advisor or earning the CFP® credential? The University of South Florida’s Financial Planner Certificate and CFP® Exam Preparation program can prepare you for a successful career in financial planning. The newly re-designed USF program will be offered Jan. 24-Sept. 27, 2014.
“Financial planners are in strong demand and those who earn the Certified Financial Planner® credential have the greatest opportunity to improve their careers and expand their practice,” says instructor David Ness, CFP®, CPA®, and formerly with Raymond James.
In partnership with Kaplan Schweser, the leading provider of financial planning and education materials, the USF program is offered in a nine-month format on alternating weekends. The program is approved by the CFP® Board of Standards and students who successfully complete the program are eligible to sit for the national certification exam. Ness also notes that the USF program not only prepares individuals for this rigorous exam, but also “helps build credibility and confidence in their ability to serve their clients.”
An open house for the USF Financial Planner Certificate and CFP exam review program will be held at the USF Tampa Campus on Dec. 11 at 6:00 p.m. A $100 discount is available for applications received before Jan. 10.
