Details on this Sunday’s activities:
FREE PHOTOS WITH SANTA – From 11am to 2pm, Santa will strike a pose with kids of all ages and furry, four-legged friends. Santa is oh so 21st century with an iPad station to send photos directly to guests’ email addresses.
LIVE MUSIC – Featuring the Matt Weihmuller Jazz Trio from 11am to 2pm.
HOLIDAY SHOPPING – The place to shop for Poinsettias and handmade, one-of-a-kind gifts such as toiletries with all-natural ingredients, antiques, chocolates, jams & jellies, nuts, and French cookies. Shop local – support small businesses and your local economy!
EBT/SNAP PROGRAM – The Market now offers EBT/SNAP benefits for purchases of food items authorized by the USDA’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program.
LUNCH AND SKATE – Come for Santa and the holiday shopping, and stay for lunch at the Market or one of your favorite downtown restaurants. Then wander across the street for ice skating at the Downtown on Ice rink in Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park.
Since 2008, the Tampa Downtown Market has served as a community-gathering site that activates public space and provides economic opportunities to small businesses. Local vendors offer fresh produce, specialty food items, and artisan wares. Ready-made foods and coffee are available to Market goers as they meet up with friends and neighbors. The Market is operated by Big City Events.
