Digital ambassador program to help unleash stories of Tampa Bay region
TAMPA BAY, FLA. (November 19, 2013) – The Tampa Bay Partnership is pleased to announce that it will launch a new digital ambassador program at its Annual Community Update (ACU). The program – #WeAreALLTampaBay – will give the Tampa Bay community the opportunity to help the Partnership market the region by unleashing the stories of Tampa Bay via various social networks.
During the ACU on Friday, November 22 at A La Carte Event Pavilion, attendees will have the chance to scan a QR code to register and sign up for the #WeAreALLTampaBay Digital Ambassador program. The QR code will be placed throughout the venue on centerpieces, banners and the program. Digital ambassadors will then choose which social networks to link to #WeAreALLTampaBay from the following: LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook. On a weekly basis, the Partnership will push content that digital ambassadors can choose to share with their individual social networks. Points will be awarded for various actions and one top winner each month is awarded a Southwest Airline ticket; however, to kick off the digital ambassador program, on the afternoon following the ACU, one random digital ambassador will be awarded a signed baseball by Desmond Jennings of the Tampa Bay Rays. In addition to the monthly winner, threshold prizes will also be available.
