Angelo’s Recycled Materials is the national pioneer in recycled building materials. With over 50 years of experience and innovation, Angelo’s is leading the way in preserving natural resources and reducing landfill volume while greatly reducing costs on construction projects.
“We are committed to investing in the greater St. Petersburg area and all of Florida by building upon our existing locations and developing new locations,” said Dominic Iafrate, Jr., principal at Angelo’s Recycled Materials. “We created over 100 new local jobs in Florida, and we have plans to expand and create many more. Being new to St. Petersburg, we were happy to have had the opportunity to sponsor the AVP tournament at Vinoy Park and are actively looking for more ways to give back to the community.”
Angelo’s Recycled Materials began recycling reclaimed concrete into aggregate and road-base products in the 1960s and helped pioneer both the market and technology that is now prevalent across the U.S. The company’s recycling rate is over 80% in its St. Petersburg and Largo materials processing facilities, which is critical to helping our City, County, and Commercial clients reach the State’s 75% recycling goal.
“By pulling out and reclaiming concrete, metals, cardboard, plastics, wood, and other reusable materials from the waste stream we are helping to avoid unnecessary landfilling and reducing costs on construction projects as they reuse materials.”
