Historic Ybor City is hosting its 3rd annual Rockefeller Center-style tree lighting ceremony. On Wednesday, November 20, Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn and Santa Claus will light the 34’ tree, one of the tallest holiday trees in Tampa.
Guests will have the opportunity to take a photo with Santa by the tree (bring your own camera) and enjoy carolers singing holiday songs. The free event features complimentary hot chocolate.

Tampa-area residents can experience this New York City holiday tradition close to home. This free event in Centro Ybor is part of the series of events to celebrate Historic Holiday Spirit in Ybor City.
After the tree lighting ceremony, guests of all ages are invited to continue the holiday celebration at the Miracle on 7th Avenue holiday party presented by The RITZ Ybor. Enjoy holiday entertainment, photo opportunities with Santa, specialty cocktails and much more from 7 – 9 p.m.
Miracle on 7th Avenue is free to attend, and donations will be accepted at the door for Pediatric Cancer Foundation. Proceeds from bar, beverage and photo sales will also benefit the charity.
