Car, Truck and Motorcycle Show raises more than $3,600 for local United Way
With a variety of vehicle owners competing, First Bank sponsored all the trophies during the Car, Truck and Motorcycle Show on October 12 in Bradenton, Florida – an event that raised more than $3,600 for the United Way of Manatee County.
“The Car, Truck and Motorcycle Show was a great success and will help the United Way of Manatee County support programs and initiatives to positively impact our community,” said Anne Lee, First Bank Retail Banking President and United Way Campaign Chairman. “People really got revved up for it and we are grateful for their support.”
First Bank employees also volunteered at the event. They included Lee, Andrea Tetla, Jill Burger, Shirley Walker, Joann Baker, Twila Averill, Sally Beyer, Lisa Hammock and Rebecca Feaster.
The show featured vehicles of all types and was highlighted by prizes for each class (first and second place), people’s choice and door prizes. The cars, trucks and motorcycles were judged by community celebrity judges.
In addition to First Bank, sponsors were the Bradenton Herald, Publix, Bill Lee’s Professional Automotive Services and De Soto Square Mall.
First Bank firstbanks.com is one of the largest privately owned banks in the country with $6.23 billion in assets and 130 locations in Florida, Missouri, Illinois, and California.
