(Palm Harbor) November 11, 2013 – The Greater Palm Harbor Area Chamber of Commerce will host the 39th Annual Fine Arts and Crafts Harbor Art Festival in historic downtown Palm Harbor, FL. Members of the community of all ages are encouraged to come out and enjoy this fun-filled outdoor event. The festival will begin on Saturday, December 7th from 10am to 5:00 pm., and continue until Sunday, December 8th, from 10am to 4:00 pm.
Over 90 artists will display their artwork at the 39th Annual Fine Arts and Crafts Harbor Art Festival and nearly 100 artists have been selected to compete for approximately $6,250 in cash awards. In addition to art, guests can enjoy food from local downtown restaurants, street food vendors, music and children’s activities. “Battle of the Best Wings in Pinellas County,” will be held Saturday, December 7th, 2013 – judging begins at 2pm. There is a $10 fee for anyone who wants to be a wing judge. Wing vendor applications are now being accepted. Call the Palm Harbor Chamber at 727 784-4287.
The festival was founded by Louise and Bill Hoskins and a visual arts scholarship is awarded to a local high school student in their honor. Some of the proceeds from the festival will go towards that scholarship.
