|Sarasota, Fla. November 13, 2013— Insignia Bank has turned its buttoned-up world upside down, all in the name of giving back to their community.
October was the inaugural month for the Casual for a Cause program, and it was a great success. Employees who wanted to enjoy the benefits of the Casual Friday were encouraged to make a small donation. The charity was randomly chosen from a list of local organizations recommended by the staff.
The proceeds of $500 were given to the charity of choice for the month, Beyond the Spectrum, which is an organization committed to helping autistic children and their families.
“It was a great opportunity to help a local charity and to have a little fun at the same time,” said Charles G. Brown III, Chairman and CEO of Insignia Bank. “We hope we can bring a little extra attention to these organizations that are working so hard in our community.”
