|Adds All New Bunkers and Forward Tees to All Holes
Venice, Florida – November 12, 2013 – Venice Golf And Country Club – one of Southwest Florida’s most prestigious private golf communities – has created a new, more enjoyable playing experience on its GEO Certified, 18-hole, par 72 course. The addition of forward tees and realigned and replaced bunkers on each hole provides golfers with new options and challenges for every level of ability.
Relocating and realigning bunkers closer to the greens helps speed up play while creating a new array of approach options. For those familiar with the former field obstacles and layout of the course, the revamped configuration renews the challenge of every hole and keeps members and players actively engaged.
The injection of the forward tees follows a country-wide “Play it Forward” industry trend in assisting those who have difficulty reaching the fairway. The additional tee placement is the sixth option available for golfers to choose from, and has already been found to be popular with the club’s players. “We are always thrilled to introduce new challenges and options to keep players engaged and satisfied,” said Jim Schell, General Manager of Venice Golf And Country Club. “With our new tee options and realigned bunkers, golfers of all abilities will find a renewed enjoyment with their time on our beautiful course.”
