SARASOTA, FL – November 11, 2013 – Christopher Eisenberg, the young and talented artist who made Sarasota proud as one of the top 48 contestants on NBC’s America’s Got Talent/Season 5, is excited to announce the release of his Debut Album “Christopher XVI” on November 12, 2013. The Album will become available on November 12th through iTunes, CD Baby, Amazon.com and autographed copies through his website www.everything-chris.com.
Christopher has been gracing stages locally since the tender age of 9 years old when he made his debut appearance as young Michael Jackson with Sarasota’s Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe. At age 12, Christopher was chosen out of 70,000 auditions as one of the top 48 finalists to appear on NBC’s America’s Got Talent, Season 5. Chris has completed two summer tours throughout the U.S. and has inspired hundreds of Boys & Girls Club members to follow their dreams and to never give up on what they want for their life. His message is always impactful and touches the hearts of many. At age 13, Chris released his first Mixed Tape titled, “Before the After Pt. 1” and is now releasing his Debut Album titled “Christopher XVI”. Although he is a 16 year old international singer, he continues to attend Booker High School (10th grade) and balances his performing life with his school life.
“Dreams really do come true” is Christopher’s response when asked what releasing his Debut Album means to him. “It hasn’t been easy” says Eisenberg. “When I was 9 years old, I told my mom that I was going to make my own music and write my own songs for my own album one day. But at that age, I had no idea the amount of dedication and hard work it would take to get to where I am now.” Chris tries to explain what it is like to be so young yet certain of the path his life is supposed to take. “Music and singing is in my soul. It’s not an option for me – it is a necessity.”
On Chris’s recent “Power of 15” Summer Tour, he was able to share with the members of 15 different Boys & Girls Clubs the adversity he has had to overcome to continue to pursue his dreams. There has been tons of peer pressure, lots of “bullying”, struggles with school and the ever complex piece of trying to figure out who you are during your teenage years. “I just want other kids to realize that they can make anything happen for their lives if they just stay focused and don’t give up. I could have given up many times by now, but touching peoples’ lives through my music is to important to give up. I see the smiles on their faces while I perform or when I sign an autograph for them. This is exactly what I am supposed to be doing with my life.”
Christopher will be celebrating his Debut Album release with the members of Girls Inc. of Sarasota County on Tuesday, November 12th at 4:15pm. He will perform several songs from his Album with his Back Up Dancers and then spend some time answering questions and signing autographs and inspiring more kids to go for their dreams.
Chris and his backup dancers have also been invited to do a special guest performance in Downtown Disney, Orlando Florida on Thursday, November 14th.
