Chef Paul Mattison and Chef Chris Covelli are partnering for one night only on Saturday, November 16, 2013 from 6:30pm in a Truffle Wine-Pairing Dinner to raise funds for Florida Winefest & Auction at Mattison’s Forty-One, 7275 South Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, Florida 34231, telephone 941.921.3400. Christopher Covelli, Executive Chef and Owner of Culinary Creations & Entertainment hunts for truffles in Italy and immediately delivers them to Mattison’s Forty-One where the chefs prepare a five-course menu featuring black and white truffles accompanied by wines from Banfi Vintners. This is a fundraising event for Florida Winefest & Auction, Inc. which has granted nearly $8 million to 77 charities serving disadvantaged children in Sarasota and Manatee counties.

The Florida Winefest & Auction, Inc. is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit corporation producing world-class food and wine experiences on the Gulf Coast to help children in need in Sarasota and Manatee counties. Since it was founded in 1991, Florida Winefest & Auction has awarded more than $7.8 million in grants to 77 charities serving children at risk.
