The Anna Maria Island Privateers and the Skullywag will be weighin’ anchor at the City Pier at the east end o’ Pine Avenue on Anna Maria at 10 bells Saturday morning. (that be 10 o’clock in the a.m. fer ye lubbers out thar)
This is when we begin our run down the island after ol’ Lafitte’s Ghost Ship. But we heard…we have another crewe after that very same treasure. And they are a mighty crewe at that.
We will be havin her first encounter with the Crewe of Hernando DeSoto at Rudy’s Subs & More, located at 9906 Gulf Drive, Anna Maria and do battle thar at approximately 10:10 a.m.
By 10:30 we’ll be battlin’ it out with each other at the CrossPointe Fellowship Church, located at 8605 Gulf Drive, Holmes Beach.
The Island Gourmet Grill at 5910 Marina Drive, Holmes Beach at 10:45 shall be the next site of carnage as it’s clear neither crewe is willing to give up.
As we both press on…by 11:15 a.m. the ships will reach the Manatee Public Beach at the end of Manatee Avenue and Gulf Drive.
And finally at 11:35 a.m. the final battle will explode on the circle at Bridge Street &
Drive, Bradenton Beach.
from thar, survivors of the battles will make there way on to the Invasion Site at Coquina Beach by high noon to officially kick off the first ever Pirate Invasion!
