(Sarasota, FL) – The Institute for the Ages has hired Stacy Prouty as Chief Operating Officer. Stacy enables the framework that supports the work of the Institute, overseeing day to day operations with an eye on what’s needed to make the organization more impactful.
Stacy spent the past 12 years engaged in Project Management and Healthcare Marketing consulting as the owner of Sprouty, Inc. Prior to that she served as the Physician Relations and Recruitment Director at Manatee Memorial Hospital.
She joined the Institute in November of 2012 as a consultant to begin the Institute’s work connecting innovators with the older adult residents of Sarasota to gain their wisdom, experience, and insights.

Prouty holds a B.S. in Marketing from the University of South Florida and an MBA from Argosy University in Sarasota. Her passion for working with older adults to advance and catalyze innovations for aging populations helps drive the organization.
