Tampa, Fla. – Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin Shareholder Russell S. Buhite was reappointed as Vice Chair of both the Health & Disability Insurance Committee and the Health Care Reform Task Force of the Tort, Trial and Insurance Practice Section of the American Bar Association (ABA).
Buhite, who serves as Managing Attorney for the firm’s Tampa office, focuses his practice ERISA matters and life, health and disability insurance coverage litigation. Additionally, his workload is dedicated to the professional liability defense of agents, brokers, attorneys, appraisers, engineers and other professionals in alleged errors and omissions claims in both the state and federal courts.
Buhite was named to the ABA’s Health Care Reform Task Force in 2010, and has previously served as Chair of the Health & Disability Insurance Committee. He is admitted to practice law in Florida and Missouri as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals, Tenth and Eleventh Circuits and all federal district courts in the state of Florida.
