Sarasota, Florida, (October 9, 2013) – John Rusnak, owner of Frightmares Haunted House, unveiled his plans for the upcoming 2013 Halloween season. This year, Frightmares will move to the Sarasota Fairgrounds at 3000 Ringling Blvd. The haunted house will open on October 17th and operate through the month on select dates until November 1st.
Rusnak, a veteran haunter and horror filmmaker with over 20 years experience in producing haunted houses, says this year will be his biggest and most extreme show to date. “We’ve pulled out all the stops for the 2013 season,” Rusnak said. “We’re not only one of the largest stand-alone haunted houses in Florida, we feel we’re the most extreme attraction in the state.”
Rusnak has been providing Sarasota with Halloween scares for over two decades, including past haunted attractions such as Tomb of Terror and House of Terror. Sponsors of this year’s attraction include Sunset Chevy, Dominoes Pizza and Livingston’s Amusement Center among others. Tickets are available at the location box office or online for $16 (general admission) and $30 for Fast passes.
