The Suncoast Primate Sanctuary Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and home to over 70 animals including chimpanzees, orangutans, monkeys, reptiles, tropical birds, and more. Whether coming from being a personal pet that could no longer be cared for, or retiring from laboratory research and the film industry, the Sanctuary is here to provide these animals with a safe haven to spend out the rest of their lives in peace and with dignity. Through animal, children, and senior programs, the sanctuary is able to bring awareness to the public about exotic animals as pets and what can be done to help these magnificent animals. Please visit www.suncoastprimate.org to learn more about the sanctuary, or call the sanctuary at 727-943-5897.
