Eclectic Sarasota marketplace invites the public to
shop, mingle, eat and drink while raising money for charity
(Sarasota, Florida) Circus City Architectural Salvage—Sarasota’s go-to marketplace for salvaged treasures, funky home décor items and an entertaining shopping experience—introduces the first of many “Big Top Benefits” this month.
From 6 to 9 p.m. Thurs. Oct. 24, 2013, at 1001 Central Ave. in Sarasota (on the corner of 10th Street and Central Avenue), help raise money for the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America. Enjoy food from area restaurants, beer and wine, live music by Big Night Out, and 10 percent off all merchandise all night long. The suggested donation is $10 at the door, and all funds raised will go to colitis and Crohn’s disease research.
“Come have fun with us in our beautiful, historic building and help us raise awareness for a good cause,” says Circus City owner Greg Pemberton, who opened the store softly in mid-May. “Our ‘Big Top Benefits’ are opportunities to connect with the community and showcase our amazing venue.”
With 6,000 square feet of shopping space in an antique structure with exposed brick walls, Circus City provides the perfect ambiance for a party. While reveling, guests can stock up on original 390 Design chalkboards, bistro tables, lighting fixtures, wine racks, gazebos and anything else a homeowner or restaurateur might need.
And, as Pemberton says, “Welcome to the Circus!”
