Tampa, FL (Oct. 4, 2013) – USF Continuing Education will offer a two-day workshop, “Planning for a Balanced Retirement: It’s Not Just About the Money” on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 25-26 in Tampa. While most retirement seminars focus on financial planning, this workshop looks beyond financial issues and focuses on the personal and psychological process of finding purpose and satisfaction in the “third age” of life.
“In this highly interactive workshop, you will explore the transition from the world of work and learn how to repurpose your personal strengths and professional skills,” note facilitators Dee Cascio, MS, and Sue Stein, EdD, who are certified retirement coaches. “This program will help you develop a personal retirement plan that reflects your needs, interests and values, and give you confidence as you navigate this important next stage of your life.”
The workshop will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 11400 Morris Bridge Rd., Tampa, Fla. and runs from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. each day, including continental breakfast and lunch. The fee is $395 per person if you register before Oct. 14; $435 per person Oct. 14 or later. There is a $40 discount per person for couples registering together. Register by phone at 813-974-2403, opt. 1, to receive the discount. Visit our website at conted.usf.edu/transitions for more information.
